Everyday Organizing helps you get control of your time, your space, and your life

We're here to help you organize everyday life so you're free to focus on what you treasure

How We Work

When people hire Everyday Organizing, they're asking for much more than just someone to clean up a room. They're asking for advice, for ideas, for help getting through a difficult or overwhelming task. ADD clients are asking for direction and support in achieving their goals and better managing their lives. And home inventory clients want the security of knowing they're prepared should the worst ever happen.

What Can You Expect?

Whether you're struggling with the challenges of Attention Deficit Disorder, are tired of the clutter and chaos in your life, or just want the security of knowing what you have and where it is – Everyday Organizing is committed to helping you better manage your everyday life, with practical solutions fitted to your personality and individual outlook.

Here's what clients have come to expect from working with me:

  • Learn what it takes for you to get and stay organized. Everyone is different. In working with me, you'll get an objective assessment of your situation as well as honest feedback about what is and is not working. You'll also learn practical techniques and solutions that take into account your unique characteristics.

  • Get clear direction about where to start and how to progress. And when a portion of the project threatens to push you into overwhelm, you'll benefit from the techniques I use to keep you calm, focused and on track. Just having me there will give you a boost of motivation that will help you stick with the project until you are successful.

  • Save time and money. You will know exactly what you have. You'll start to notice the habits that have been frustrating your ability to find what you need when you need it. And you'll end up with clearly defined "homes" for the items you really use.

  • Experience the security of knowing you're prepared. No one wants to think about disaster, but knowing that you're prepared should the worst happen is knowledge you can't afford to live without. By organizing and documenting what you own, you can be sure you'll get adequately reimbursed if you ever need to make an insurance claim.

  • Learn to consistently take action and achieve your goals. For adults struggling with ADD, learning how to get where they want to go is priceless. You'll learn to use your unique characteristics to transform your day-to-day journey into a life purposely lived.

  • Experience a renewed sense of balance and control. By engaging in the process of simplifying and organizing their lives, my clients have reported an ability to think more clearly, to get more done and to be more creative.

My Approach – Professional and Personalized Attention

As part consultant, coach, teacher and cheerleader, I guide, encourage and educate my clients on the basic principles of organizing and life management while I offer support, focus and direction. I freely share ideas and information. I ask questions. I make observations and offer suggestions to help clients decide what is or is not important to them. And most importantly, I listen.

My clients are unique, incredibly gifted people. For some of them, clutter and chaos is a source of embarrassment and frustration – sometimes even pain. My nonjudgmental, compassionate approach ensures clients will always be treated with respect. They're assured of a listening ear. And when the going gets tough, they'll get the encouragement they need to stay motivated and experience success.

My role doesn't end when the job is finished. I want my clients to be able to stay organized even after I leave. While we work, I take time to teach them time-saving strategies so they can work maintenance into their routines.

My approach is based on these core principles:

  • My clients' needs always come first. My job is not to impose my style on you. Instead, I do all I can to get to know you – how you work, what you like, how you naturally think and use your space. Then I work with you to maximize your space and to organize it in a way that makes sense to you – so you can maintain your system and stay better organized over time.

  • How is as important as what. Every project has an end goal – a vision that lets us say "yes, we've arrived." Getting to that goal is important to you, so I help you stay on track. But just as important as getting to the goal is making sure you enjoy the journey – or at least experience its benefits. That's why I treat "how" we work together as important as "what" we accomplish.

  • Your trust deserves my total respect and integrity. I appreciate the high level of trust my clients place in me. Integrity, honesty, respect and confidentiality – these are principles that guide my interactions with each of them. I will never do or say anything that violates those principles or breaches your trust.
